Arguably, the overflow of anti-Trump articles has helped him.
People are more willing to go against the mainstream media, who are seen as trying to brainwash the general public.

The more he draws hate from people I don't like the more I am starting to like him.

The Boston Globe conducted own ‘dirty war’ on free press
The Globe has shut down more newspapers in Boston than Donald Trump.
Now the Globe is campaigning for a free press.
The Globe covertly used its political columnists and reporters to pressure future House Speaker Thomas P. “Tip” O’Neill of Cambridge and other Massachusetts political figures to persuade the FCC to deny the Herald Traveler the license. It worked.
On March 19, 1972, the FCC ordered the Herald Traveler to surrender its license to Boston Broadcasters and the new WCVB-TV. Two weeks later the Herald Traveler folded. The Globe destroyed a competitor. A free press voice was lost, hundreds were thrown out of work, and the new TV owners got rich.

Sol let me get this straight. The Boston Globe is "dirty" and somehow organized 350 news outlets to publish editorials denouncing Trump's 'dirty war' on press. From all over the country? Including the British Guardian. Pray tell how?
“Donald Trump is not the first US president to attack the press or to feel unfairly treated by it. But he is the first who appears to have a calculated and consistent policy of undermining, delegitimising and even endangering the press’s work,” the Guardian’s editorial says.

The Kansas City Star, in Missouri which Trump won in the 2016 presidential election, in its editorial also compared Trump’s comments on the media to Stalin’s silencing of his critics. And it took issue with the term “fake news.”
“Everywhere in the country, any matter that an official doesn’t want to talk about or that a reader doesn’t want to hear about is ‘fake news’ now,” the Star said in its editorial, which ran online on Wednesday.

"Neither Boston nor New York has seen a single newspaper fold since Trump became president and launched his “dirty war” (a Boston Globe phrase) against the press. As a matter of fact, the media seems to be thriving under Trump’s unorthodox presidency."
BTW, with a moniker of hcap, how come I only see you post in OT?

You have yet to explain how this was organized accross the country and parts of Britain by the "Dirt" Globe.
My software work here was before you showed up.
