And it's more than that...

"A small peace keeping group of about 200 will remain in Syria for period of time," Sanders said in a one-sentence statement. U.S. military officials have since confirmed the residual force could be double that and that some U.S. troops could stay in the northeastern part of the country, and others in southern Syria.

Let me be clear, keeping 200 troops but pulling 2000 out is a big win for the President. Your happy to babble about anything you think your right about, I would love to see the President pull all but 200 troops out of Germany as well but that is a story for down the road.

ET is right, we will never completely leave Syria. We have soldiers in over 50 countries. The military complex is too big of a business with too many lobbyists. Our only hope is to slowly lower our presence allowing the US to pay for concerns within or on our border.
