Some afterthoughts:
A few of my friends thought I was nuts going with the Patriots. They’re feelings were based primarily on the Chiefs record at home versus the Patriots record in away games. Yes, the Chiefs had a very good record at home, but did anyone take notice of which quarterbacks they actually beat in each of those home wins? And then they face a good QB like Rivers and lose (at home).

So, having already beaten the Chiefs during the regular season, and then putting on a show while demoralizing the Chargers, I thought the Patriots (and the over) were a pretty good bet.

The Super bowl presents some interesting team comparisons. One thing I’ll be looking at is how each team came out of their playoff victory.

Chiefs lost the game with a poor first half. Not the refs fault.

Heck, I was referring to at least one of the PI calls against the Patriots when I said wussy. I agree, Patriots beat them. Chiefs just weren't quite good enough yesterday. Patriots are as clutch as they come.

So now it's a fait accompli , as all those jealous of Brady's dream life and surreal success have managed to brand him a 'system' quarterback ? How ridiculous and unfair.

And any minute now that old myth will start to recirculate about how Tom Brady can't survive being hit. Just as evvvvvvrry year the Patriot defense 'stinks.'

Never EVER have an athlete and team received so little credit for doing so much.

And that's from a passionate Steeler fan who DESPISES all things New England.

Seahawks should have beat them. Falcons should have beat them. Patriots should have beat the Eagles.

Who knows what'll happen in a couple weeks.
