7th race
Fayeq is a good price at 5/2.
EDIT was a good price. Late money now has Fayeq properly priced at 8/5.

FIVE HEARTS bobbled at the break, recovered to track the pace along the inside in hand, cut the corner into upper stretch, lacked room inside and was boxed in awaiting BARRIER TO ENTRY to clear outside, tipped out over heels to the three path just inside the eighth pole fully extended, surged late and just got up in the final jump to prevail.

race 2 6f sCl25 f/m 3up $47k non finisce mai (E/P 6) (4/1)

NON FINISCE MAI out-broke the field and retained the advantage, was forced to fend off BILEAPS AND BOUNDS to the outside, out in path three though, was in the process of putting away that opponent when pounced upon by the winner, relinquished before arriving at the furlong grounds then weakened into the show slot.

conformation bias or legitimately cold (not training well etc..)
I can't tell if the betting public is over-reacting to the bad morning line on the Startup Nation, and everyone and their mother has committed to playing against at 8/5 off of a year layoff... or if the horse is legitimately cold for rational reasons.
Currently 4-1.

Took a perfect ride by Ortiz and a dream trip for the 2 to beat him.
Different style, but post-Dominguez, Ortiz has become the best turf route wire-to-wire man. Excellent judge of pace from a forward position in general.

Jersey girl
I like 4 and 7 and both are square prices.
going to construct a 'fun' superfecta ticket.
double key of '47' with all in the other 2 slots.
All 7 combinations (1st/2nd/all/all , 1st/all/third/all, etc...) of dime supers is $28

$0.10 Superfecta (6-7-4-2) Paid $22.25
Had every result that I could hope for and lost six bucks
I'm guessing the 1 was declared a non-starter?
Still a dumb bet, unless you have a larger field size(and make some eliminations)

Hope I don't put the mush on us but I like this one as well, and 4-1 is more than acceptable odds.

The here has had some inside posts. Been running good races. Has an outside post today. Currently 2-1 in a 5 horse field. Not a bad price

Sheesh... I love those city zips on grass, but they can run on anything. Another minor award for that horse

BEL Race 4:
Taking a shot with the at 8-1.
Think a bit of a fast pace/duel is in the making here and he can pick up some pieces. Rough start in last down on the rail and pinched by a chain reaction. Gets a better 'look see' kind of trip today, can be there. Runs well for 25k
