trying to get #6 Deer Crossing home. Yesterday saw three wire jobs on the turf, but this race looks to have a lot of speed and this guy has a nice closing kick. Had some early trouble last time behind a slow pace and still finished up nicely through a fast final fraction.

$3 ex: 4,7 w 6
$12 win: 6
($18 bet)

good luck

16 Mar - Race 9
I'm backing #7 Verbal in a very nice turf race. Gr3 winner on turf as a 2yr old and has been facing some tough turf fields (as have others in here). Been wanting to give him another shot on turf after a good performance/tough trip last June at Bel followed by a dull wide trip race at Sar. Hard tryer usually shows up and gives it his all down the lane. Must overcome some formidable foes today.

$1 tri: 5,9 w 7 w 1,4,5,9,10
$1 ex: 7 w 1,4,5,9,10
$6 win: 7
($19 bet)

Good luck
*racing cancelled tomorrow in anticipation of heavy rains

Oof - I should have canceled this bet when Torres was hurt in an earlier spill and Suarez took the mount. Probably wasn't going to get there anyway

Wagered: $550.00
Returned: $587.30
Total: + $37.30

Mar 23 - Race 8
Love the way #10 Delahaye runs. Finally gets to put two races together without a layoff, steady works at Payson, runs like a bat out of hell down the stretch, and always gallops out strong. ML price is a pipe dream. Expecting around 3-1

$15 win: 10

Race 12
Taking the runner I think will offer the most value, #10 Common Defense for McPeek. Did get a dream trip last time, but put in a powerful race, and I think he runs well again today. Hernandez seems to always land on the live McPeek horse.

$3 ex: 5,7,12 w 10
$13 win: 10

$37 total bet, which will leave me even for the meet if I lose both bets today. Seems about right.

Good luck, I'm on my way to the Grounds

24Mar - Race 12

#5 Sixth Anniversary is on my watch list after going widest of all on both turns (including a strong move on the far turn) and still finished up well, beating a few rivals she will face again today. Can't see the 4-1 ML holding up.

$2 ex: 2,7 w 5
$13 win: 5
($17 bet)

Race 7 - Pick 4
R7: 2,7,8
R8: 5,7,8,9
R9: 2,6,8,9,11
R10: 3
($30 bet)

$47.00 total money bet

Been a good meet, turf course held up very well. Hope to finish it off with two winning plays.
