Help Identifying This Track (Picture)

Hello all. My grandfather recently passed and he was who gave my father and then me by extension our love of horse racing. Going through his old house, we found this picture. I was wondering what track it may be. We live in the Western New York area, although I can't place it to any of the tracks around us that I know of.

Seems to be American to me (there's only one flag, unless I am missing something -- Fort Erie and Woodbine have both flags if I remember correctly, not sure if they did back then too). My father, however, insists that it is most likely Greenwood in Toronto before it was demolished. I looked online and there werent many pictures of the track, and the ones that I was able to find seemed to not match up. I honestly have no idea at this point but have tried my best. So any help is appreciated, hopefully one of you guys has been there and it brings back some memories.

Do you know what year (or your best guess for a range of years) that the picture was taken?

I see one dirt course and two turf courses. I think that only Belmont and Saratoga have two turf courses. Looks like Belmont.

Aqueduct pre-1976 had two turf courses, the old outer one became the inner dirt track. (And now it has two once more, which allowed for 86 turf races to be run at the fall meet.)

The placement of the homes behind the backstretch make me think Aqueduct.

You are probably right.
The shape of the pond had me thinking Aqueduct, but even though I was there many times in the seventies I don't remember the two turf courses.

A little YouTubing of “Secretariat Aqueduct” helped nail it as at least being a decent candidate for the right answer:

It is absolutely Aqueduct, S. Ozone Park, NY. Worked there for many years, 1978-1991 and visited as a spectator from 1959 on.

That's a NYRA tote board, and that's the Aqueduct infield. I know it well.

Sometime in the 70s, the steeplechase course at aqueduct was converted to the old inner dirt course to facilitate winter racing.

Looks like a chilly weekday afternoon, and that small sampling of the stands, that's more than most tracks today.

I remember going to Finger Lakes on a Tuesday about 6 years ago and there were like 10 people in the stands.
