How does a split congress get anything meaningful done on anything.
Nancy and Mitch are polar opposites.

Appointments of judges.
Impeachment is now a show.
Dems are no targets for not getting things done.
If they want to complain about things under Trump, they will have to do something about them.
Trump has always been willing to reach across the aisle, against my warnings to him!
They now have to address things they have been avoiding, like immigration.

Fact-free as usual.
Maybe like repealing the ACA?
Until John McCain slapped his "reach" down?

Honest answer. It's not in Nancy to work across the aisle. It won't work with her as speaker. If a dem was in the WH, same would be said of Mitch. Right now the economy is in a good place. Veering off path can be pointed out easily next election cycle
This can be a good set up for dems if they meet in the middle. Work together, improve the nation, they can take half or most of the credit. If not, they lose everything in 2020 (White House, senate, house). Really the choice is with the Dems. Just my opinion.

Here we go again.
Trump attacks media for accurately reporting that Democrats won the House: ‘FAKE NEWS’
https://www.rawstory.com/2018/11/tru...use-fake-news/
President Donald Trump on Wednesday attacked the news media for reporting that Democrats on Tuesday swept back into control of the House of Representatives by winning more than 30 seats.
“To any of the pundits or talking heads that do not give us proper credit for this great Midterm Election, just remember two words — FAKE NEWS!” the president wrote.
Trump has been boasting that Republicans on Tuesday added to their Senate majorities, even though they handily lost the battle for the House of Representatives.
In other tweets, Trump seemed to argue that the only Republicans who lost their reelection bids were the ones who did not fully embrace him, whereas pro-Trump candidates marched to victory.
What a doofus.
And you guys I'm sure will buy this

Presidents like Bush and Clinton would be willing to share the credit,up to a point,of course.
It simply isn't in Trump's DNA to do that.Anything positive,he's going to be grabbing the credit with both hands.
Democrats best strategy is to keep their story clear and simple and stick to it.Put Trump on the defensive.
Dems need new blood at the top.Following Pelosi is going backwards. But she and Trump are more alike than different:they can't admit they might be wrong.
Take a page from the GOP playbook and focus on the symbols.Where's the wall?Details please about the "terrific" replacement for ACA.And when are you producing those tax returns?Hiding something?.(the Dems answer to Obama's birth certificate)
Create doubt. And send Maxine Waters and the Clintons on a round-the-world cruise.Several of them.
And that,Mr. Ness,is how you get Capone.

Trump helped campaign with 11 Senate candidates, and only 9 of them won.
The dims have Trump right where they want him. They will impeach on 'money laundering' for sure. All of those foreign dignitaries paying over $200 per night for a TRUMP hotel room .... just for future pay to play.

Not the first time a dead guy has won an election.
The senate election of 2000 in Missouri. Carnahan v Ashcroft (yes that ashcroft)
Carnahan dies 3 weeks before Election Day. Ashcroft loses the election to a dead man.
Widow is appointed in her husbands place.
