I thought I was toast with Mage breaking slow and trailing the early going. I'm amazed to get the place and exacta. Still like the prospects of this one—imagine what it can do with a disciplined run.

Problem is, did indeed go off a strong second choice, and you can't make any money on them running 1-2 heavily favored.

12-horse field, and that godforsaken busted my chance of making money deeper. The I liked ran well to finish in the super, and the was my other defensive play.

Lost more on this than the Arkansas race, just shy of 50% ROI. I managed to Dutch the place and cold exacta bets pretty well, just didn't bet enough there to cover the deeper verticals.

I made some money there but nothing to get real excited about. I made a lot of exacta boxes with Forte in the future pools. He’s looking like a tough one. I’m guessing the Florida Derby Thoro-Graph figure will be a monster having gone wide throughout. The final panel was run in 12.16 seconds and Forte was almost 3 back at the mile pole. That’s pushing an impressive 11.5 final 1/8th. Mage ran a hell of a race and looks to have a bright future.

Forte is undoubtedly going to be the Kentucky Derby favorite. Really nice animal that just keeps coming.

But damn, did that one hurt. Mage was supposed to break better and be on or near the lead. Instead, he breaks dead last, makes a huge move, only to get caught by Forte late. Been a big fan of Mage, and I guess I'm kind of stuck with him if he runs in the Derby.

South Beach area totally reserved.
Took away all seats from breezeway bar.
$325 for a seat in the char restaurant

Terrible

Myracehorse.com and select people bought all the tables in South Beach tent. Theres no room for stragglers with no ticketed seat or else you're hanging on top of people with the seats. Especially since myracehorse moved the buffet into the center of the room.

It's pretty clear that the South Beach Bar is no longer public but belongs to myracehorse.com. even in Friday they were squatting the tent just getting set up.

The seats at breezeway are useless because people being people, you can't even go the window because somebody grabs your bar seat. Then when you come back , they get up but take your spot standing up. Plus the people ordering drinks over your head all day. Breezeway bar is a mistake.

Charbroil seats are worth $100 and they should make the menu al la carte

A Big party at Gulfstream yesterday, weather contributed many people being intoxicated and tuning it up. No trouble at all. The energy was positive mostly. I got heated one time, when I waited 10 minutes to get a diet coke.. I'm a Karen when it comes to my diet cokes. .. Since May of 2018 no booze for me. 5 years next month

Truthfully it's a gift from the Gods to be able to do it.
Gambling I'm seasoned, what I haven't done I've seen done.
Being able to bet small and enjoy the sport is a blessing. Because I bet small , I can play the game anyway I want. I can play it like keno, I can bet 2$ small program , I can play the $5 program, and I can play formulator. I try and enjoy the parts that I enjoy.
