More than half the population growth in Texas comes from the Hispanic population. Most of it comes in the Texas Triangle. Rural counties, which are overwhelmingly Republican, have lost population. 143 of 254 counties have lost population, mainly in the north west and west.

Yeah sure. You know more about Texas than I do. By your #s we should be blue right now.
Illegals aren't allowed to vote and we take it seriously. Massive fraud there, anyone going to the dmv for a license knows that. You'll see mire bills fighting the fraud so your panties just got tighter
When I lived in the metroplex by far the majority of the influx were conservative professionals. That's leveled out but even in the semi rural area I live, transplants are VERY conservative. They're allowed to vote btw. Since they're American citizens you know...

This is why they need to be taken over by the State
“Unfortunately, locally elected prosecutors like myself face enormous challenges when prosecuting public corruption cases, because political retaliation is very real, as we have seen,” Ogg said.
Shane Attaway, a division chief for the Texas Attorney General’s Office, said his office will be assisting the Harris County DA’s Office and the Texas Rangers on these cases. He also said his office plans to bring the cases before Harris County juries “when the time is right.”

Of course you do Cliffy... always "claims" to know it all.
No the bill came about due to one county... it can be applied to any and all counties that trigger it due to nefarious shit happening behind covered glass in the wee hours of the morning.

Amen! The indictments of the county judge is what I am hoping for. In Texas the county Judge (Roy Bean anyone?) is like the Mayor of the county. Or the Chief County executive. She is an awful person…..
