Corroboration is needed from people at that teenage party so many years ago.
No one who was there, including her girl friend, is supporting her supposed memory of what happened.

The FBI might as well as other allegations from other accusers. They could also interview Mark Judge, according to Special Christinen an eyewitness.

The hypocrisy by Durbin is laughable. He is against unsubstantiated allegations about Feinstein or her staff about leaking and the allegations are unfounded because a reporter, whose made a statement, while not under oath outside of the judicial committee, said so.
While Durbin is okay with unsubstantiated allegations against Kavanauagh and have been refuted by independent statements made under penalty of perjury.
An absolutely ridiculous position by Durbin.
You are right Durbin, we have two conflicting stories and independent witnesses, named by the accuser, who refute the accuser's claim. So who do you believe? If you believe the reporter you must believe the people who refute Ford's allegations, because they like the reporter say so.

I think we need an F.B.I. investigation of Feinstein and her staff into the alleged leaking of the letter.

The other "accusers" are irrelevant. The were not invited to the senate circus.
Also, there is no federal crime here. It's one thing for the FBI to do background checks on federal employees and it's quite another to conduct a specific investigation into an alleged crime that is not a federal offense and, therefore, doesn't fall within their jurisdictional purview.
And they're not going to come up with diddly squat on a supposed crime covered in cobwebs.

ONly that SHE told them.

One lies the other swears to it.
Nothing of substance here.
In her own word yesterday..."ONE of them was on top of me."

The talking point that this is a job interview is patently false. Ford's allegations are an accusation of criminal behavior, which exposes Kvanaugh to legal jeopardy. There is no statute of limitations regarding sexual assaults in the state, where this alleged sexual assault took place.
If Ford is serious she should swear out a complaint in the local police jurisdiction

Why not press charges? Ford can do so at any time (which included any day since 1982). With proof, people would serve time for sexual assault. What's keeping her from pressing charges?

My these dems have no idea. The accuser has no right to confront people who refute her accusations. In our system it is the accused who has the right to confront the accuser.
The dem mantra is I believe uncorroborated accusations. Everyone beware of such beliefs regarding your liberty. Vote these people out of office.

From what I just read over on Freepersville (FreeRepublic) is that the confirmation vote is scheduled for 1:30 today (I think!).
Also, other important noteworthy news is that Flake is going to vote for Mr. K as well as a dimwit Joe Manchin from W. VA, a state Trump won by a large margin.
Looking good, thus far.

The dem truth comes out, we don't need a Supreme Court dancing to the tune of five repubs on the Court. Especially ones recommended by repub organizations.
I guess these people didn't listen to candidate Trump's promise to pick candidates from a specific list. And he won.
