Back when I was working in Ohio in the 90’s if an Officer got killed anywhere in Ohio, the FOP reps would collect normally $20 bucks from every officer in the state to present to the family at the funeral.
There were about 4K cops in central Ohio at the time and over 20k in the state at the time. Not all in the FOP but most would give.
It was somewhat comforting to know that your family would not be short of cash if something happened

Nothing... but he did notify the IRS to harass the widow to pay her fair share as it's over 400k.

How much did Trump contribute? It wouldn’t surprise me if he asked for campaign contributions at the wake. I give Trump zero credit for attending the wake for officer Diller. It matters why you do something.
BTW, Biden did call Mayor Adams and offer condolences on the death of officer Diller.
