Teachers laid off

Rochester NY plans to lay off 152 teachers to close budget gaps.
Students protested carrying signs this morning.

One prominent sign read "This Ain't Fair"

Maybe it should be 153.

And yet we still have New York and California Democrats telling the rest of us how to run the entire country.

Truly amazing shit.

They said it would cost $40 million to keep them on until June.
If you are spending that much money on education and you have a graduation rate of only 54%....and that is a major INCREASE! you need to take a long hard look at what you are doing. NO freaking way it cost that much money to teach kids to read, write and do basic math, which most people in this area CANNOT DO.

This explains democrats.

That's a Monthly cost per Teacher of $43,859! They must be buying their teacher supplies from the DOD.

When my father started teaching with a local state college here, he got a salary of $1150.00 a month, for the 9 months a year he taught.
