I’ve discussed the Sotomayor’s Covid statements before. She made no false statements. You and others completely and probably deliberately misinterpreted what she said.
I don’t know what you mean by distrust of our Constitution. I’m guessing Sotomayor rejects your rigid, originalist view of the Constitution. So do I.

You make an excellent case against reparations. I concur with your thinking.

That is not a requirement. Many Supreme Court Justices were never judges including William Renquist, William Howard Taft, and others.

And your lies were thoroughly debunked. Mz. Soto is a clueless wonder. It's no wonder you admire her so much.

Geez, if you’re going to pick a baseball team, pick a good one. The 27 Yankees or the 06 Cubs.

A great idea. Clone one of the worst Justices ever. The guy who never asks questions. The guy who uses his position on the court to enrich himself and his wife. The guy who refuses to acknowledge conflicts of interest.

Sorry, Klaven, unlike you, I never saw those teams in person.

Two things to keep in mind. You can nominate anyone currently on the Supreme Court. Confirmation is not a concern at this time.
Here is my list.
Sonya Sotomayor
John Roberts
Elena Kagan
Barack Obama
Mitt Romney
William Jefferson Clinton
Ketanji Brown Jackson
Amy Cooney Barrett. (Somewhat reluctantly.)
Adam Schiff
Let’s hear yours.
|
Unlike you jokers, I put a great deal of thought into this. My Court has four women. (Sotomayor, Kagan, Brown Jackson and Barrett).
It has a Hispanic (Sotomayor) It has two African Americans (Obama and Brown Jackson.)
Even though I am definitely a Liberal, I thought it important that Conservatives have a voice on the Court.
I chose John Roberts because, while I disagree with his political philosophy, I admire the way he has conducted himself, his efforts to seek consensus. I chose Mitt Romney as a moderate Conservative, an honorable man who will decide fairly even if I disagree with how he decides. Finally, I chose Amy Cooney Barrett because I feel she deserves a chance to prove herself for better or worse.
The last person I picked was Adam Schiff. I truly believe he is qualified, but I will temporarily remove him from the list and invite you all to nominate a replacement. I know that most of you will simply make Stupid comments-you aren’t capable of anything else. But, hopefully, someone will come up with a viable suggestion.

I don’t think I have ever heard anything more ridiculous than your idea Clinton should be disqualified because of his middle name. In the first place, do we even know he was named after Thomas? Maybe he was named after George Jefferson. In the second, why should he be punished for the actions of someone 200 years ago.
|
So...if you are serious about "why should he be punished for the actions of someone 200 years ago"...you have a SERIOUS problem with the actions of many in the Summer 2020, right???
You are a Lummox.
