I'm not great, nor should I give any advice, but I know you want to be great.
In order to be great you have to "eat" into the form. "Why is this horse here today".
When you can answer the ultimate question of whether this horse can/will run today, you have 80% of the challenge done,.
Go through the past races of every horse and ask "why here, why now". and try to solve the puzzle.

I never "pick" horses. I find (in my mind) the most wagerable horse in any race and go from there. If he can't win, I don't bet. If he can, at apporiate odds., I bet.

Just saw that the at Delta sired by Benny the Bull. Loved that horse, looked like a plow horse in the walking ring, as soon as he stepped on the track, the head and ears went up and he started this cocky prance in the post parade.
