My saying is that I can pick losers just as good as the best of em....


I remember back in the 80's there was advertisements for selections....

So a bunch of us called at various times....they gave out different horses....

the best long shot book ive used was by dan geer called pro rated longshots using this ive hit some real whoppers back in the 90s as for today it just dosent hit enough to make it usefull simple fact is that favs are winning at a much higher rate than they were back in the 80s and 90s and when you do hit a prl play it just dosent pay enough to get a profit . i think theres a guy in the picks thread that might be playing LS picks cris longshot i think his name is . good luck sir

I've heard 2 services that specifically tailor to longshot picks in the past don't know if they are still operational today

Longshothorsepicks is still offering picks for sale. they recommend wagering to win on certain hand selected choices at odds of 8/1 minimum. The logic being after every 20 race sequence you will be ahead money.

I'd give a thumbs up to the Gapfire folks - though it appears their website went off the air a couple of days ago. Very reasonable pricing, and a book comes with the subscription (hard or softcopy) called Logical Longshots.

I find the numbers help me identify the chaos races, and I take a closer look when a longshot has the highest gap or when one horse towers over the rest. They also have (or had) access to online "new" Gap numbers which are/were also handy. Nice tool to compliment my "manual" handicapping approach.
