I'm still recovering from the shock of yesterdays Late Pick 4...
There really is big money in these wagers isn't there..?
There is such a propensity to use favorites and the lower odds horses in most slots that it sometimes creates huge payoffs when some long or medium/ long contender horses come in...good luck today...we are two for two so far...

It takes a big bankroll to really take advantage of, but much of the skill in those big prices is determining which races are chaos races.
Sometimes it's worth it to use an 'almost-all', but you have to save it for rare opportunities or you will go broke

You're right about that....I think the first step is to determine the OUTLOOK of the race....BETA uses 3 three classifications: Dominant, Orderly, and Chaos races....
I should ask him more about this but I imagine that Dominant refers to a SINGLE type selection, while Orderly may refer to a few contenders as likely winners....Lastly, Chaos might refer to the race situation where anything might come in.....
So yes, I would like to see more input from others when they post their selections which type of OUTLOOK they believe the race to be...
The idea is that many of these deep long shots can seldom be understood rationally except by wide inclusion for the sake of inclusion....so I'm thinking some tickets like SINGLE/ 'almost-all/ SINGLE/ ABC...might work sometimes...In sequences that scream Dominant/ Chaos/ Dominant/ Orderly...for example.

If you can post the definitions, I will include my opinion on how i view the races according to those definitions.

Belmont Pick 4 Wedneday 14, 2107
Here is the OVERNIGHT for Wednesday for starters...
I will not be able to bet the Pick 4 tomorrow but may post a selection or two anyway....Races 6,7,8 and 9.
The first thing I thought we could discuss was which of the 4 races were "Chaos" races, which seemed like maybe a single or double type of race, and which ones to uses 3-4 horses....any thoughts yet...
One interesting note:
Wesley Ward has a horse in the 6th and one in the 7th race, Both with jockey Blake Shinn aboard, who moved his tack from Australia to Arlington Racecourse last week. Blake had several mounts already, with one second place finish...look for him to score soon as Ward appears to be dedicating mounts to him for a few months riding here in the US...
