You've said that the Trump tariffs are bad for the US economy, right?
Yes, you have, since Day One.
So, if Trump cancelled the tariff hikes you should be very very happy he did so.
Where's your OK-to-Trump post?? Haven't seen any, unless I missed it.

A few weeks back China announced they weren't imposing some tariffs they had threatened to hike. I was busy so I couldn't post the story.
I was also so very sure --lol-- you would have posted that story or would have commented on it, important as it was. But you didn't, and like I said, I was very busy myself so I couldn't 'add' any facts to your Trump-is-losing-the-trade-battle-with-China silliness meme of yours.
Well, low and behold, guess what again happened just the other day:
Quote:
BEIJING (AP) — China will lift punitive tariffs imposed on U.S. soybeans and pork in a trade war with Washington, a state news agency said Friday, adding to conciliatory gestures by the two sides ahead of negotiations.
China will suspend tariff hikes on soybeans, pork and some other farm goods, the Xinhua News Agency said, citing the Cabinet planning agency and the Commerce Ministry. Beijing “supports domestic companies in purchasing a certain amount of U.S. farm produce,” it said, but it gave no details.

Hi Randall and thanks for your welcome back ...
Don't know where you get your info but I would double-down on finding other outlets if I were you.
President Trump and the USA have been winning this battle with China since jump street.
Yes, the international business globalists, the Fortune 500 traitors, the US Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street all of them want the anti-American worker/citizen status quo to remain but there has never been a US President like Trump and he's kicking their butt on every turn. He won't let that happen. He isn't stupid like the Bush famliy nor corrupt like the Clintons and Obama.
China watches CNN World and are regularly being fed fake and incorrect hate Trump news on a daily basis... such as Trump is getting impeached and Trump is losing the 2020 election.
Once China realizes both won't be happening, and I think they are now getting the message, their conduct and willingness to make a deal comes closer to fruition by the day.
Donald J. Trump, and the US worker/citizen/economy, are all holding a winning hand right now.
China is on the brink of economic disaster and social upheaval, two things I basically predicted could happen a countless times on here over the past 1-2 years.

China needs the food. Also, China owns Smithfield foods, the largest producer of U.S. pork. China put tariffs on its own agricultural products . I guess they realized their mistake.
China has devalued its currency, prioritized food purchases over raw goods purchases, cut their industrial purchases from Germany and France, hurting the EU economy, and is watching its own economy shrink, while its financial markets decline.
Tariff wars are easy to win.

I missed this Show Me The Wire... sorry about that.

Why do I need to be "okay to Trump?"
I've said tariffs are stupid and hurt US consumers since day one you're correct.
Of course I'm glad he isn't increasing them. We shouldn't have had them in the first place because they cause economic damage.
I'm not the one who reflexively defends any and everything the POTUS does.
