The feeling is mutual, I assure you. We can lead jackasses to water, but we can't force them to drink.

Ex-NOAA scientist now 'climate-change denier'

The author of “The Rise and Fall of the Carbon Dioxide Theory of Climate Change,” he told Delingpole he had to travel to Europe to have his 2018 paper on climate change peer-reviewed and published.

“The ‘deniers’ have so much evidence,” he said, while the global-warming believers “bring nothing to the table of scientific proof.”

“All they have is hearsay. All they have is media coverage. All they have is government people saying it’s true,” said Fleming.

He said more scientists would abandon the theory, but they are in “this groove of getting funds for huge, bigger computer systems to run these massive climate models.”

“And they want their salaries to increase. They don’t want to change,” he said, describing it as “a wonderful gravy train.”

I've been saying this for many years. It's nice to have an insider affirm common sense thinking -- an "insider" who has forgotten more about climatology than all the Hcaps of the world would ever hope to know if they lived for all eternity.

Oh boy, this might push him over the edge.

quote: The frozen extremities of the northern hemisphere are melting at a near-record rate as heatwaves buffet the Arctic, forest fires tear through Siberia and glaciers retreat on Greenland fjords and Alpine peaks.

Unusually high temperatures are eating into ice sheets that used to be solid throughout the year, according to glaciologists, who warn this is both an amplifying cause and effect of man-made climate disruption across the globe.

Greenland – which is home to the world’s second biggest ice sheet – is likely to have shrunk more in the past month than the average for a whole year between 2002 and now, according to provisional estimates from satellite data.

Please be sure to let us know when the mega melting reaches record levels.

Think of it like a self-defrosting freezer. It warms briefly but the food stays cold.

Fleming said that one of the reasons proponents of the theory of man-caused climate change target the fossil fuel industry is to push socialism.

Has any one found a link to Flemming's actual paper and the
"respected" scientific peer-reviewed journal who published it?

I would bet this "story" has no scientific legs.

DUH...really? Could it be that Flemming is considered an apostate outsider by mainstream science and "excommunicated" from their ranks, which would make his work difficult to find?

P.S. For your info, no no one likes a whistle blower.

I admire your tenacity but this crowd has lost objectivity as with most scientific long term studies: putting your head in the sand appears to be solution when we know it is not.

My master's was in toxicology population genetics......The facts are continuing to be established daily as these folks live in a dream world.

JUST the same with overpopulation. The world will sting itself to death like a scorpion...I am just glad I will be out the door before it becomes full fledged chaos.

So, Mr. World Pop[ulation] Expert, how many people will it take to turn the world on its head?
